  Neanderthal man

  my ex husband and father of my daughter was never baptized but is still a believer in the wt.. a couple years ago we were talking about evolution ( which he does not believe in ) i brought up the subject of the neanderthals and how we all have their dna except africans ( the ones that never left africa ).

  he said neanderthals are apes and not humans and jw's do not teach that they are humans.

  i said i believe they do.. in the life- how did it get here book, under the sub heading " the human family "is says " neanderthal man....... was undoubtedly human.. his response was " they are just talking about what other people believe " ahhhhh .

  What a waste of man power. These WT Corporation CEOs are totally clueless. First off the magazines are given away free and second they are full of shit (So it is a money loosing venture with very little in the way of returns for all that labor and gas money).

  What these GBs need to do is make a mad real estate rush get all these JW banging nails and building building so they can sell them when all these child molestation lawsuit become due.

  yes, we all know that, according to the bible, god originally established a union between one man and one woman - adam and eve.

  however, later in the ot we see that polygamy started being practiced and god permitted it and later even gave laws to regulate it.

  so in the ot god does not condemn polygamy and israelites practiced it.. fast foward to the nt.

  Since polygamy was practiced more frequently and not considered taboo 2000 years ago I think the prohibition on more than one wife only applies to MS and Elders. A polygamist having more than one wife could be a lot of work and would leave them very little time for congregation matters and that is my opinion for the ban with regards those serving as elders and what not.
